Ceylon Trail specialises in premium teas sourced directly from Sri Lanka. We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate, though slight variations in packaging or appearance may occur.

4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (ÂŁ).

  • Payments are processed through secure third‑party providers.

  • By purchasing, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.We reserve the right to change prices at any time before your order is accepted.

5. Order Acceptance

Your order is accepted once you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel any order for reasons including:

  • Product unavailability

  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity

  • Errors in pricing or product information

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship exclusively to customers within the United Kingdom.

6.1 Delivery Timeframes

  • Standard delivery: 3–7 working days

  • Delays may occur during peak seasons or due to courier issues.

6.2 Delivery Issues

Please contact us at info@theceylontrail.com if:

  • Your order is delayed beyond 10 working days

  • Your package arrives damaged

  • Items are missing

Once a parcel is delivered to the address provided at checkout, responsibility transfers to the customer.

7. Returns & Refund Policy

We comply with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7.1 Non‑Returnable Items

Because tea is a consumable food product, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened or unsealed tea packaging

  • Used or damaged items

7.2 Returnable Items

We can accept returns only if:

  • The item is unopened, sealed, and in original condition

  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery

7.3 How to Request a Return

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if damaged)

Once approved, you must return the item to the address we provide. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

7.4 Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it is dispatched for a full refund. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled—only returned if eligible under our returns policy.

9. Food Safety & Allergens

  • Our teas are naturally gluten‑free and nut‑free unless otherwise stated.

  • If you have allergies or sensitivities, please read product descriptions carefully or contact us before purchasing.

  • Store tea in a cool, dry place away from strong odours.

11. Limitation of Liability
